Has anyone been to Diablo Lake in Eastern Washington? Is it a good wakeboarding lake? Looks like a gorgeous lake with a turquoise color to it. Trying to find a resort on the lake but it keeps sending me to Ross Lake which is a nearby lake. I have a 24ft boat so hopefully there is a good boat launch there. Wanted to try something new this year. Thanks

I don't think you can launch boats there. That's at the top of the pass over the north cascades highway (not really eastern wa). Even if you could drop a boat in I'm guessing the water is 50 degrees all year long. It's incredibly scenic up there though!

I've never been there but I saw a video the other day of some riding there, so it can be done. I'll try to figure out where I saw the video. This link says the launch if off of Hwy 20. http://www.bellingham.org/PDF/Marinas_Boat_Launches.pdf

It can be done. Have never been, but we did plan on going last summer but it fell through. I've heard the water is very cold...... we didn't even plan on getting in the water.

Cal, lets make a trip up there this summer. It looks like it is worth braving the cold arse water.

Been there, done that. You can launch right off Hwy 20 (Colonial Creek Campground)where it makes the bend to go around the east side of the lake. You will want to wear at least a wetsuit in the middle of the summer. That is some seriously cold water straight off the glacier. If you call the park ask them if they still have the boat only campgrounds. We did that when we were there and had a lot of fun. The sites are tent only and you need to be aware of the bears. We had a couple of them stroll through the camp in the middle of the day. All in all, a pretty cool place and we were the only boat on the water. Let me know if you have any other questions.
