I’m still playing around with the goofy wake on my Enzo. Previously I extended the wake plate by nine (9) inches. http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/87668/703594.html?1244341230
Our goofy riders liked the wake but there was still a lot of spray at the back of the boat. The extension killed the regular wake.

On my last post I added a partial prescription to my Enzo. http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/87668/706024.html?1244935423
The wake looked better but there was still some spray.

Today I increased the power of the prescription. The spray was noticeably down, really no longer a factor. The first assessment of the modified wake was that it didn’t have the push that the extended wake plate had.

So after a good long run with the prescription we removed it. Without the prescription the spray came back in a big way. Our goofy rider didn’t like surfing the goofy wake at all; the spray is just too annoying, surfing cannot be enjoyed.

At first he rode surf style boards, and then rode his regular board, a Walzer. After riding the goofy wake with and without the prescription he said that the modified wake was better. He also thought that maybe the wake shape had changed and that it might be a better shape for skim boards.

I don't have pictures with the extended wake plate. No one sent them to me yet.

you should add the Switchblade. We have a 09 Right Surf Enzo with the blade and the regular side is not bad at all. All it needs is the Enzo Sack plus two fat buddies. The blade adds a bit more power to the other side and makes it a little steeper. None of our regular riders ever complained. Without the blade I find the 'other' side has not enough power and steepness.

Hmmmm... Switch Blade $5,000. Goofy prescription about $15.
