I will be at TSR the 26th-28th of this month and was wondering what the weather is like. Should I bring my drysuit or could I wear a wetsuit? What is everyone else wearing this time of year?

It hasn't been above freezing in Dallas for several days! Where is this global warming everyone speaks of?! It's turning into the ice age here in Texas!

I would say drysuit but the weather in Texas changes every day. Call TSR directly and see what the water temps are there at the park.

Wetsuit for sure if the air warms up. It has been like 30 for the past 3 days though.

Bring your wetsuit you'll be ok. Almost everyone I've seen out there in the last 90 days is wearing a wetsuit, complete with boardshorts on top...

Last time I went (20+ days)water was somewhere between 55-60 air temp was nice(65-70). Good luck getting those numbers now though, after the ice storm apocalypse week we just had...

Brodie,

I would bring a dry suit. It has been freezing for the last 4 days with temps not breaking out of the low low 30's. If your used to riding really cold water than maybe a wetsuit, but I for one would have a dry.

So were coming in tomorrow from Sacramento and staying in Austin. TSR is only open fri-sun so is there anyone riding anywhere near Austin on thursday? There will be 3 of us (Al Marchiniak,Brodie Chaboya,Waylon Broussard). We had plans to ride behind our buddies boat but he now has to work thurs. If not Holla anyways and let us know all the hot spots to play/party, Our buddy just moved out there so i'm not sure if he really knows Texas yet. Anyone else gonna ride TRS this weekend? I know it's last minute but POST HERE OR email bchaboya@comcast.net Looking forward to ridin TEXAS

its been pretty cold. Also, lake austin is currently being lowered and wont come back up till feb. Travis is still bone dry, so tsr is probably your best bet.

Shane,

Make sure to check out the new Wet Sounds sound system at TSR. We replaced those old mega phones with 2 pairs of PRO 485. You can rock out the entire cable lake. Let me know what you think.
