I know this is a repetative type of thread but going to ask opinions anyways. Thinking of selling my X9 and going to a vdrive (finally). We are east coast so for the most part MB and Sanger are out. This will probably be march-April so the winter steals are not going to apply as much.

-Wakeboard and skate 100% of the time now but would like a surfable boat
-Prefer a rampier wake. Not huge on a 210'like wake
-Newer the better. Have had a 11 year old boat and would just like newer

Right now I have:
Nauti 226
Supra 22ssv
Moomba lsv
bu lsv & vlx

A bit far but I'm sure the owner could work something out.

I'm partial to the bu LSV. I love my wake.

I'd throw the SAN 220 in there. Nice solid boat. Handles like it's on rails.

I think you are on the right track. I would be looking to the 2004-2007 Malibu LSV or the 2005-2008 VLX although they will be at the upper end of your budget. Another boat that might be tough to find for 40k but I would consider is the 2003-2012 Xstar hull.

IMO if you don't like the 210 wake steer clear of the Supra 22, the Bu is a good choice if that is the wake you like.

My family was deciding the same thing last year. We were mainly looking at used 23 LSV's and a Mobius LSV's. We ended up getting a 247 RX because we loved the interior and when we test drove it, with the ballasts and power wedge, the wake was actually decent.

Yea oriiginally a 23 was probably going to be too big for what we are looking for although anything over 21' is going to need a new storage location since garage wont be big enough so guess that would work

Tom..........shut it lol

Thinking bu at this point and scowering pretty hard. Thanks for the links guys

actually thinking about it. Weight might be an issue I need to look into. Towing with a 13' ram 1500 2wd but the ramp I use sucks big time.

A little higher but I am sure the owner would work with you.

I'm an MC guy, but the neighbor's SAN210 can do anything and I think you can find one at the high end of that range. We surf, board and even run the course with it. Also does fairly well in pretty rough water, and lots of space. Even from a 209 you wouldn't believe how much space there is in one.
