Can you guys tell me what speed you hit rails at behind a boat?
We've built a rail to hit on our lake and I've only ever hit rails on cable which seem to go a lot slower than the boat.
I usually ride at 23mph behind boat, do you guys hit the rail at your normal ridingi speed or do you slow the boat down for sliders?
Cheers

I go pretty much my riding speed. Like 24-25. Although I ride at like 26.5-28mph. I just feel more comfotable getting a good solid ollie at a speed over 24mph.

IMO it mostly depends on wether or not you are riding just to hit the rail or to ride wake while also hitting the rail in your pass. If its the latter, I ride closer to normal speed like (23) and still hit it fine; eventhough, it is definitely fast.

If your whole set is dedicated to hitting the rail then I would ride a slower speed like 21-22. It also helps to know how long the rail is. Ours are anywhere from 48-80 so if we hit them at 23 you still have pretty ample time to spin. If its a short rail then I would slow the boat down no matter what. If you have someone w/ acces to a pwc then use that... easier and MUCH cheaper
