Looking at getting the P-C 7424XP to use on my boat/car to help take out the fine scratches/swirl marks.

For those that own one- where is the best place to buy and what are the recommended accessories? Like I said, I need to take out some minor swirl marks on my black car and would also like to use to help perfect the boat. I already have a rotary buffer for the heavy stuff but have heard good things about the 7424.

Thanks!

I used the Makita 9227CX two weekends ago on my boat and it looked as good as the day I bought it.

Harbor Freight has a cheapo, which works fine for me. I only use it a few times a year...

Love the Porter Cable. Had it for two years and think it works miracles. Haven't tried other buffers so can't comment on them. I bought an assortment pack of pads from autogeek.net (item bfbk-200-ccs), and it has a good variety of pads. Don't forget to buy some pad cleaning powder packs too.

I have the Porter Cable and love it. Its very easy to use and extremely effective. Pair it with some Lake Country pads that suit your needs and you'll be set. http://www.autogeek.net/lakecountry.html
