This might be a stupid question but we got a monster tower on the old boat 3 years ago and it has been a nightmare with bugs on the highway. It gets so caked on that its hard to clean. With the new boat coming i want to know what options i have to keep the tower and bimmi clean. Also the tower speakers i guess.

What do you guys do for the long drives as i drive 1.5 hours to the nearest lake almost every weekend.

THanks

Some will use Saran wrap.

Tower sock is a great product but it will cost you more than the saran wrap.

i know it sounds wierd but before you get on the road spray the tower down with PAM or some light cooking oil. When you get to your destination, wipe it off bugs and all. Super easy to clean.

Drop your tower down for the trip. It's much easier on the tower/boat. When we went to Vegas several years ago, we did this and used saran wrap on the windshield. Worked well...

I never use it on my tower but Deep Woods Off always works for me.

Pam or WD40 works well... spray on - wipe off bugs later!

Put it in fully enclosed storage at the lake you go to. You will save the monthly rent in fuel towing and stuff cleaning your boat when you get there. Not to mention time, wear and tear ect.. Your boat will look new for years. My 2c.

We use the magic eraser on the tower, and speaker sox on the speakers and board racks. The speaker sox are great, just swish them in the water and the bugs come right off.

I will also go with the pam/wd 40. Just be careful of the overspay as it is slippery and don't forget to wipe it off when you arrive.

We use it on some long trips and we saran wrap the racks and it works perfect for us
