Found a pretty clean 2004 Tige 20v with 250 hours, priced at 18k.

It needs a Bimini, board racks, and ballast but it's got a tower with speakers and is on a nice tandem axle trailer.

I did some searching but most threads are old....any recent input on this boat?

I'm mainly looking for a way to get on the water without breaking the bank. Cruise around, kids like tubing and kneeboarding, I ski and wakeboard occasionally and it would be nice to be able to surf with it. I'm not looking for a world class boat but also don't want to lose my ass if I want to sell it in a few years and upgrade.

Thanks for any input on this boat or suggestions for other boats I should check out.

If the boat is clean and nice that boat is priced below market value. Should be a great boat for what you are describing.

With the cost of new boats you could use that boat for 2-5 years and never lose a dime on it. Basically use it for nothing, meaning sell for what you paid. Just pay for the maintenance and any updates you want.

It's a perfect boat for what you're looking to do. I agree with the comment above.
