I thought I would share my build photos with everyone as there hasn't been much about the X23s on here. Not looking for any bashing just trying to provide some insight to how these beautiful boats are made from start to finish. Hope you enjoy.
This is the first few days of production.

Yes it's nice ... and ... I'm sure .... pictures don't do it full justice.
I posted here about going to a boat show in February, where I saw an X-25 in about those colors sitting next to (more or less so) a G23.
As far as the comparison went under the "WOW" factor, it was lop-sided far in favor of MC.
One of the WW trolls challenged me that I didn't know what a G23 was, and couldn't possibly have been comparing to a real G23.
But I was.

always love seeing these threads. Great looking boat!
in the second pic (with the nasty looking metal skeleton thing), is this the top part of the mold, or...?

That is the press frame that they use for installing and holding the stringer structure in the boat while it is fastened/epoxied in place and then filled with foam.

The factory took some video of the boat being made for me. It's a pretty cool little time hop. The factory has been amazing. If you by an MC contact Matt. He is awesome to deal with and extremely helpful.

What makes it a surf edition? What about a surf boat needs a tower?
Ball busting aside, beautiful boat!

That is a sharp looking X23, congrats!!! It was like killing somebody to get build pics from my MB and they hook you up with video. That's pretty damn cool, next step is a live cam watching your boat get built.

I have a trademark for a social media called GoLive. A social media based on a GoPro. Will have profiles just like Facebook/Instagram. Go to say Travis Pastranas page. If he is streaming you will literally be able to ride his motorcycle with him on his helmet live as he does it. If he is offline what he has done in the past will save like a log so you can see what he has done in the past. That's just the TIP of how big this could be. Think about the NFL, put a camera in/on a helmet, go to that players page and literally line up with them and watch them play live in a first person view.

I guess what I'm getting at is, if master craft were streaming you'd be able to view the build process live

Really good looking boat!! I just am not a fan of that graphic at all tho. Doesn't really flow with the lines of the boat at all. Is that a factory graphic?

I wasn't a fan of the graphic original but seeing it in person kinda changed my mind. It's going to stay for now.
After having the boat all weekend. All I can say is wow. MC stepped up their game from the 2012 that I had. The ease of operation is absolutely incredible. The wakeboard wake and surf wave are some
Of the best I have ridden. Here are a few pics of the boat and wave. Sorry no wakeboard wake yet as I'm the only one that wakeboarded.

I'm not much of a MC guy, but I gotta give you props, that boat is drop dead sexy. Only criticism I have is that carpet, I think the Seadek would've been killer in it. I've got the Deckadence mats in my Tige and I'm not a huge fan of them anymore. The rubber backing on the bottom begins to flake off if the mats are wet and get left in the boat for a couple of days. Didn't do it on purpose, came in late one night after being on the lake all day and was gonna clean the boat up the next morning, but woke up to heavy rain instead. Didn't stop raining for 2 days, and it was another day on top of that before I was able to clean out the boat. That's when I discovered the mat issues. As long as you take them out at the end of the day and let them dry out, they're fine though.

Thanks for the compliment. The X23 is the real deal. The wake/wakeboard wake ate phenomenal. The pictures don't do this boat justice as the flake barely shows up. I love the flooring as it feels great on my feet and I hate carpet. I'm very anal about my boats so I doubt I will have any problems with the flooring. I may add seadek later on but I'm unsure if the material will stick to the flooring as it is not smooth. A few other X23 owners are adding seadek so if it sticks good I will take a look at it.

Here it is, Dave.
I can tell you that I highly doubt you would have any issues with it sticking down. Mine stuck like crazy on the textured area. I tried just a quick push down, and try to pull it back up....... It wouldn't come back up. The bottom is very pliable and forms to the texture. It stuck to the textured surface more than the smooth surface. I can't imagine how much more it bonds over time.
