Looking for advice on Bimini tops. I have a 98 mb w a Samson razor tower. Samson sells a Bimini to go w the tower but it was over $900 last time I checked. I was wondering if anyone ever just buys a universal after market bimini. At almost half the cost it's tempting but I don't want to get into something I will hate.

Looking for recommendations for something universal that will fit w the tower.

Try tower biminis. They are very nice. They are around $800, as most biminis are.

I had my custom over the top bimini done at Tower Bimini's. They did an amazing job! John worked on mine and was great to work with in person, but he's no longer working there anymore. Still I would check them out.

Second boat and Second Tower bimini here also FTW

Although some of the new beefy over the top type of bimini's are worth looking into. Not sure who makes good ones of those though.

Good thing about TowerBimini is just fill the form out and tell them exactly where you want the bimini height and they will be within a quarter inch of it site unseen.

For an over the top Bimini I'd recommend looking at http://sewlong.com/page/folding-canopy-top

There was an additional post here in case you know someone with a 3D printer:

I went the DIY route and estimate that I have about $500 into parts and materials for the Sewlong version. While I love these projects if you value your time just pay them for the finished product.
