I just got an 01 Calabria pro v with the factory pure vert 700lb ballast and was curious about adding more ballast. never had a boat with a shower so I'm not 100% sure how the shower gets its water supply but was thinking if you could use the shower line and the pump it has to put water into a few fat sacs and use a pump to drain it so you didn't have to throw a pump over every time. Has anyone thought of this? tried searching for it but found nothing. Thanks.

If you start first thing in the morning, that shower head might have one of those sacks filled by March.

Yeah......I have an 02 Pro V. The shower doesn't have a lot of volume, would take a while. I installed 2 reversible for mine, its not a difficult job.

Normally showers are plumbed off the engine. Cold inline before the water pump and the warm off the side of the block.

Like said above there isn't much flow. If you tried to get more you'd risk starving the engine of water. Not a good idea.
