Was out wakeskating yesterday behind the boat and saw a bunch of cops by the shore. They waved us over to tell us to stay on the other side of the lake, but I still had no idea what was up. Turned out they fished a dead woman out of the lake. News reports claim that it appears she had been there for several days. And there are no missing person reports going in the local area.

Glad you didn't see it. As a kid my family came across a body while on a ski trip at Folsom lake in the 80's. It sticks with you.

Second one in the 29 years I've lived here. The 1st one was foul play, but so far none suspected this time.

Yeah that would be creepy. No more news on this one. It's like it fell off the radar.

Like 3 weeks ago a guy like 28-30 years old, his 5 year old son and lab were duck hunting in a remote cove in our lake when a big storm rolled in. They were in a little Jon boat that capsized. The dog made it to shore and a neighbor found him. When the police and game wardens showed up the dog led them straight to where the decoys were.. like an hour later they found both the bodies. Very sad situation and his wife was like 6 months pregnant with their second child.
