On the berrics when I stumbled upon this Rodney Mullen interview...I applied what he was saying to wakeboarding and it resulted in some cool thoughts, leading me to the second video posted here.
would love to know what others make of it.

As "odd" as Rodney might come across in interviews, I always find myself listening to every word he has to say.

The things he could do on a skateboard in the 80's are mindblowing. He looked to use every surface of the skateboard for his tricks, way ahead of everyone else.

If you want to see a good documentary on Rodney and skateboarding, check out Bones Brigade: An Autobiography by Stacey Peralta

I just googled a Rodney Mullen interview. Said he was credited for inventing the first Ollie on a skateboard, flat ground. What????? Is that true? He's got amazing board feel and control
