WOW! Why isn't anyone talking about this? Jon Jones finally was in a fight. Alexander Gustavson impressed the hell out of me. A 5 round war with Jones eeking it even though it was a unanimous decision a lot of people had Gustavson winning the fight. I had it 2 rounds Gus, 1 round draw and the 4th and 5th I had going to Jones. As the current champ I thought the decision was a good one.
Both guys ended up in the hospital after the fight Jones looked to be the more wounded though. Wonder if Glover Texteira will be the next in line or if they will do a rematch since Jones has never really had anyone give him a fight like this. I think even though Jones had a 5 inch reach advantage the fact he couldn't keep Gustavson on the outside like he normally does was the factor that made this fight so good. Finally fighting someone his own size and looking like h can actually be beat.
Some other great fights on the card as well. Spinning back kick knock ot by Barrow showing he is a freaking beast who hasn't lost in 8 years.
