Well today when getting my boat on the trailer, my rubber bumper on the front popped off and I put a big gouge about 6 inches long in my hull. Deffinately through the gelcoat and a little into the fiberglass. Its a 97 maxum so the color is a light gray. What I am wondering is if there is any product that I can buy that will do a temporary patch until I can get enough funds to get it done right. Not real concerned about the looks right now, just dont want it to leak or affect the hulls integrity. Its not super deep, but still would like to know what I could do.
Thanks

Marine epoxy. There may be some others, as well...

Talk to someone that knows about gelcoating so you don't use something that the proper repair materials won't bond to.

Marine Tex is what you need.
