Exquisite works amazingly well. Been promoted on here in several threads - sold off of EBay: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Ace-Detail-Supplies__W0QQ_armrsZ1

I bought my boat after it had been sitting in the florida sun for a year without a cover. I used magic eraser combined with Greased Lightening and it has worked unbelievably well. Your vinyl may not need such restoration though.

IMO, magic eraser is horrible for you vinyl. It should only be used as a very last resort. Magic erasers are very abrasive and will scrub away the top protective coats of the vinyl. For routine cleaning using a very mild soap with a scrub brush is the best way to go. Exquisite foots this bill very well imo, very mild cleaner, with a conditioning effect.

I have Exquisite and have not been impressed. I think Babe's Seat Soap is a much better product.

Exquisite was amazing for our vinyl...I thought we kept it in decent shape and that it was clean. I started using the brush and spraying exquisite and I forgot the seats were that white...never used babes seat soap. Greased lightning works in a pinch, but make sure to dilute it a little, its pretty harsh stuff. Prolly should 303 it if you used greased lightning

The detail shop next to my buddies shop was cleaning a boat the other day. They were about half way done with the interior. What they had cleaned looked like new, what they had not looked horrible. He said the trick is the brush and a soap that cuts through the built up oils. He uses Ivory dish soap diluted 4/1 or 5/1 with HOT water. The heat helps loosen the oil as well. You might want to put some towels down to catch the dirty water coming off the seats if you don't have snap in carpets.

I have both Babes and Exquisite. I don't think either of them work as well as the Ivory and hot water.

I like dish soap and hot water! And Soft Scrub and a little warm water for tough spots. I get my best results using a brush that has a pretty stiff bristle. The magic eraser does work well at making it clean but it way to harsh, it is kind of like using sandpaper on it.

I got some Malco Leather & Plastic Cleaner after Sparky recommended it, it is the bomb.

Wish I had $5 for every time I've answered this question. The Malco that Darren posted above is the best I've found for upholstery specific cleaners. Stay away from "magic" type household cleaners, they will eat away at the thread that holds your upholstery together, trust me on this. Everyone that has tried the Malco has been very happy with it. I suggest buying it by the gallon because after you try it, you'll be hooked. Follow with 303, or the Babes conditioner if you like less of a slippery protectant as 303 will leave the vinyl slick if you don't buff it off.

I will second the Malco cleaner. $15/gallon I have been using it for about 2 years and love it(just finished my first gallon). I use a soft bristle brush with the Malco cleaner, and I follow up with a clean rag and hot water after. The brush and cleaner loosen up the dirt, and the hot water and rag lift it off the seats. Then I apply a coat of 303.

303 is not cleaner. It is protectant.

You can go on the Malco website and find the dealer locator to see where to get it near you.

So i've been using Exquisite for over a year now and Babes for 3 seasons in between deep cleans. I've been a champion for Exquisite since my first use but I've heard Sparky Jay pitch this Malco product for quite a while and he seems to be in the know. Today I'm back in our detail department and I look at a bottle it says Malco. I ask if we have the leather plastic cleaner and sure enough we do. I try it out on a really filthy leather seat and was blown away at how well it cleaned up. My guy in back hooked me up with a free bottle of it which I think I'm gonna dilute a little as the stuff is caustic, kind made me cough when I was using it. Anyway, I'll let you all know what I think about it versus the current WW champ Exquisite.
