perfect pass problems

I'm going to mess with my friends Perfect Pass Pro System. Its on a 2001 SAN 210. What happens is you get going on plane, the PP beeps and the RPMs drop, but they go to low, than the PP trys to fix it and makes the boat go way to fast, then it drops again to low...its just annoying! How can I tune it so it works better?

mine did the same thing. Call perfect pass and talk to gary. He will walk you through an auto-tighten test, and a voltage test. if that doesn't fix you, you will need to replace the servo power cable. I did it myself and it took about twnty minutes. Perfect pass sent me a new cable for $30 dollars two day air. Until the problem is fixed though, you will have to ride with pp turned off. you can call me and i can walk you though it if you'd like 601-665-7364

It's possible you can go back to the servo motor and tigthen it by hand (the little dial), there is probably too much slack in the line.
