2002 Tige 22i type r ...feedback

I appreciate everyone's help in my quest for a boat. In my search i have now come across a nice deal on a 2002 tige type r. I hear that the earlier tiges had a poor wake due to spray pockets. is that the case with this boat and what are the pro's and conns?

is the type r the same hull as the 21v 2002 but longer?

I bought a an 02 Typre in 03 brand new and have had it ever since. It has been a good boat for me although I am looking to buy something a bit newer as we speak. I have found that the wake is pretty good unless you like a really long line. The wake over 70 feet will begin to wash a bit.

I added custom sacs in the rear lockers and add some movable lead around. The boats makes a pretty good surf wake on both sides.
