I tried searching for other posts to answer my questions but couldnt find a solid answer.

Given the below pictures I have 2 questions:

1) With the white color controller being supplied power by the DC plug in how do I change that to hook to a switch on my panel?

2) Do I connect a wire to all 4 copper spots? and if so why gauge wire? (R,G,B, 12v)

RGB box needs to be run straight to perk switch if you have one, otherwise run to a separate switch , then you will use the remote control to turn on and operate.
