Taking a family trip to Riviera Maya, about an hour south of Cancun this New Year. Looking to hear opinions on if anybody has found some places and what they thought of them? Searched and found one place called Waterski Cancun. Anybody boarded there? Kinda want to make sure it'd be worth my while such as decent water, good boat setup, etc... Don't really care if there is a pro instructor or anything, just wanted to get some time behind a good boat while on vacation. Also if anyone on here knows of barefooting places I'd be interested in that as well.

We went to cancan in 08. Hooked up with a guy named Scott Smith who had a wakeboard school there. His school turned out to be more of a couple of rusty inboards pulling skiers. He had an old Supra with a tower. I got a couple of pulls in the bay and his "instructors "watched from the other boat. There was a board shop downtown with a nice tige. Not sure if they are still there. Wasn't really worth lugging my board.
