Quik question for san owners or anyone that knows, I recently bought an 03 san with the 330 excal, Its time to change the oil in it, do these motors have a drain hose coming off the oil pan, if they do where do you drain it, out of the transom drain ?? Or do you have to suck the oil out of it ??

go to correctcraftfan.com , they have the owners manual online , it has the instructions for the oil change.

Did you look? My 02 with the GT40 has the hose. It was tie wrapped to a bracket on the upper front side of the motor. Drain it out the transom drain (assuming you do have a hose).

You have to take the cover off the top of the engine. You'll see it there hooked to something. Fish it out the drain hole and make sure your taking the shortest path out. It doesn't have a lot of extra length to it. Make sure the engine is good and warm when you do it, and don't be in any hurry. It takes forever for it to drain. I think it may help to go ahead and take off the oil cap to vent it. I have the same boat with the same engine and do mine no problem.

You can also I buy a tool that is a drill bit to pump it out. Then you can do it in just a couple minutes. Otherwise it takes forever.....well at least when you are itching to ride it feels like forever.
