Mastercraft X-30....

Goin to test drive a 2006 X-30 tomorrow and was wanting some feedback from MC X-30 owners. I currently have a Tige 21v and am looking to upgrade. Found an X-30 at a killer price so decided Id check it out. I ride a lot behind a friends X-2 that is always loaded down and I love the wake. Just wondering how the wake may compare or what the wake is like with and w/o extra weight on top of the stock ballast in the 06 X-30? Also, I tow with a 1/2 ton 99 Chevy extended cab pick-up with a 5.7 V8, 2wd, and was skeptical on how the X-30 would tow since its dry weight (4100 lbs) is 1200 lbs more than my current boat. I tow the 06 XStar with an 96 E150 van and the 5.8 ltr so you should be fine. I had the 01 X30 and liked the boat. The 06 is a new design compaired to mine.

wake is great with stock ballast and can be huge with an added front sac and added 2 rear sacs. trim plate is nice for tuning the wake. Make sure the steering is rack & pinion or the handling will suck! Also make sure it is propped right with the high altitude prop or you will be dragging. Great boat all around with lot & lots of room. Just make sure you like your local mc dealer.

what is a killer price? if it has the mcx engine it will be serously underpowered.

Thanks for the feedback. Sale price is $39k and might be able to come down a little more. It has the upgraded 350 hp engine, instead of the 310. Didnt get a chance to go out for a test drive on saturday, bad weather.

Thats what I have 06 X30. wake is good with stock ballast, wake is good even without the ballast full. No wash whatsoever, nice little ramp. Love the boat, no complaints whatsoever.

Just installed the fresh water flush kit yesterday too!

The X-30 drives great with the 350, if it's an 06 you might want to swap out the prop if you pig out the ballast otherwise rock the stock.
