Hey guys I'm looking to purchase my first wakeboard.
I've been riding around with my friend wakeboard which is slightly to big

I've been riding for a couple of summers (Behind a boat)
- I can clear wake to wake
- Couple of grabs/spins

Now I'm looking for a board to do maybe 70% boat, 30% cable park
Still yet to try cable park maybe I'll be addicted once I start

I was looking at the 2015 CWB Dowdy it got my attention, but haven't
been able to find any feedback at all on it.
I want something that is finless or that the fin can be removed.

Here's my specs incase...
5'9. 180lbs

I know you guys must get this all the time, I just want to be pointed
in the right direction so any advice is appreciated!

You should try a board whenever possible. I'm a huge Dowdy fan. I've hung out with the guy a few times and prior to having his pro model he rode a Pure, which I loved. I ordered the board based on that, but found it a little slow for me. I ride slow boat speed to begin with, so the combination didn't work well for me. I know others that love the board though.

Board speed is a preference. Some people hate fast boards. It's just a matter of what works for you. Also, some people have thought I was out of my mind for thinking that it was slower.

You might also consider the Twelker board, or my favorite....the Reverb, which I think is the board of all boards

I have the 2014 Dowdy board and like it alot, it has a softer landing than my old O'Brien Oasis. I think the 2015 is the same with new graphics. I also like how lightweight it is. My riding has improved with that board. I have the Dowdy boots as well.

I see a lot of people mention "You need to try it" but how does that work can you go to a shop and they have demo boards for you to sample or something???

Depending on where you are, yes. My local shop will usually let you try a demo board for a a small fee, and apply it toward any purchase.

I ride the standard and cant get enough of it. Fast, poppy, forgiving everything i could ever want in a wakeboard. makes for a super good board for progression!
