I have a 2013 Axis A22. The previous owner shipped the boat with the Z5 canvas off. Does anyone know how to reinstall the canvas? I have figured out how the canvas sits on the frame. I can't figure out how to re-string the rope with the ratchet hooks. I called Z5 and they can only tell me that they are shipped installed and can't help. Thanks for any info or pics.

Here's what it looks like with the cover on. Basically, the string runs on the inside of all of the loops in the canvas after it wraps around the outer bars, and then loops over the little screwed in black tabs. The tensioners sit under where the pockets Velcro back to the underside of the canvas on each side of the rack. you can get it all set up without them being tight. Then just run the string through the tensioners and pull tight. the hardest part is simply routing the top back how it needs to sit on the frame.

Hey, get it powder coated while its apart. it looks great if it matches your tower.

pretty sad that a company can charge a couple grand for a bimini but doesn't feel the need to help a current owner out. I mean how hard would it be for them to at least send you some pics or a spec sheet... I could understand if this was a cheap sun shade but for that kind of cash I would expect some decent customer service

Who did you talk to over there? I've always dealt with Ray Jesewitz and he's be absolutely incredible. Here's his email: ray@jesewitz.com

Maybe he can help put you or put you in touch with who you need to speak to.

It's actually pretty easy once you do it once. . . I took some pictures with my phone of how it was before I took the canvas off. I don't know how easy it will be just looking at pictures. . . but I will try to figure out how to get them off my phone and on to here to help out.

Andrew / Chattwake-

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the detailed pictures. That is exactly what I needed. It only took 1 beer with those pictures. I do like the white power coat look. Thanks guys!
