I want to do some remodeling on a houseboat in Walnut Grove. Anyone have contacts in the area?

There is a shop in Oroville, CA that i think just does housboat remodeling. im not sure of the name but i know its on the Hwy 70 on the right right when you come through oroville. i will be driing through next week back to school if you want i could grab the phone number?

Michael, thanks for the offer but I was hoping for a place closer to Walnut Creek. It's just an itty bitty houseboat and I don't want to have to pay to move it very far. I think most of the work could be done right at the dock.. Thanks again, though.

Emerald Bay Housboats and ask for Austin (530) 534-3440. This is their Oroville location number but they just opened a new shop near don pedro that he's at a lot of the time from what i understand. They do amazing things (as evidenced by the 4 story monster on the site) and here's there website I'm not sure how far they travel but out of all the people who've worked on our houseboat these guys are by far the best and would be a good source to look into.

thanks, Chris. I'll give them a call, although they're still a little ways away. Maybe they'll know someone closer.
