Hey im building a couple sliders and hopefully two kickers out at False River in Zachery Louisiana. What should I put on the tops? Ive heard use PVC but also that ABS is even better and more flexable. Ive also heard of stuff called TREX and fibron? Im just looking for stuff that wont ruin my boards.
Erik, Wait, correct me if im wrong, but isnt the point of a slider, to ride on with your board? Could you tell me how im going to wreck my board, like what causes it? Or did you just have a bad run in with a slider?
The slideing scratches you're board you slide enough and you wear through the base. And if your'e building a slider I guess you will use it alot there fore wrecking you're board regardless of the material look at a well used skate board or snowboard there all worn in the center from slideing. Come down to my store and Ill set you up with an origin board that will hold up better than most but not forever. Sadly like early morning butter nothing last forever.
