Lake? ???

Thinking about taking a vacation with boat next year. I'm not sure where or when I want to go...but I do know that I want it to be a chill vibe with calm water. Other requirements include fresh water and not overly muddy/brown. I would like to avoid camping as well, VRBO or a nice hotel would suffice.. I would also like a water system that is over 500 acres and has some deep water where I'm not going to hit rocks or stumps. It would be great if I could keep the boat on the water overnight as well. If you have a waterway that fits the bill in the contiguous US that is a cool vacation spot please provide your recommendations. Thanks!
