These old knees cant take the abrupt W2W attempts with no transition and unforgiving landings anymore but still love to wakeboard.
Suggestions?

SV211 vs VLX vs......

Its gonna have to be a pretty old boat to get it under $30k. My buddy just sold his 07 VLX for low $50's. Maybe a late 90's or early 2000's Moomba or something similar to the smaller wakeboard boats. But then at that point, you're going to be sacrificing with old boat issues. Good luck.

The OG VLX wake hull makes a pretty rampy wake doesn't it, especially if you don't use the wedge?

I have a '97 VLX and love it. Depending how you weight it, you can get almost an original Xstar wake to a super mellow but big wake with a long smooth transition.

Should be able to get a nice vride for close to your $30k.

that was the worst plug of all time. YOU would sell it for less because you paid 20k for it

The price I bought it for in no way reflects the price I sell it for an the price it's worth.

I love my Sanger and think it's a better boat, for me, but I'd have to say that the VLX or a Vride would be easier for W2W. The ramp is smooth and the wake is reasonably narrow.

Little over 30k but definitely worth a look

I just dont understand why some people write a novel and list stuff like "boot juice in back" with 24 pictures and then not give the year of the boat or hours.
I steer away from ads like that because i think they are trying to hide something.

How about a 2008+ Moomba XLV or LSV...

This one is a steal in my opinion:
2008 Moomba LSV for $23k.

Amen. Stay in college James, your grammar sucks. The ad will work for some people, but it reeks of quick and dirty bullshyt to anyone with half a brain.

Kudos to getting the boat and turning a profit though. I can't hate on that. I do not like soliciting on a thread like this though, keep that in the private messages...

Post a pic of you riding behind it, I can't believe you even ride - every thread here has been digging for info on boats so you can do your proper research for a quick flip on a semi-quality boat. You sound like someone who is just into flipping and making money on the people on this message board. In my perception, you aren't exactly acting as part of the riding community. So let's see it, prove me wrong but I bet you're a heelside hero.

Yeah ill agree my grammar blows... so what? I'm an engineering student....
.
And I will be the first to admit I'm a heelside hero... Im not trying to be a professional wakeboarder so I could care less what others think of my riding ability. I landed heel side tantrums, and backrolls before i ever landed topside w2w... Do i care? no... in fact i landed a toeside front-roll before i ever landed a solid topside w2w.... when we go out were just going out to have a good time... not trying to impress anyone or win any medals. I think most of the summer were the only boat out on my lake (lake hartwell) that even wakeboards anymore... Nearly every other wake boat i see is surfing.

to my defense the hours are listed in the ad, and if you would have clicked the link you would have found out i had an 04.

I wish i was in the market for it. I think those year xstars have the best lines of all the boats. Just read somewhere they don't surf that well.

I hope you aren't serious. This is the most ignorant statement of all. Good advice - communication and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely can make or break you - coming from someone who is only 10 years your senior. Communicating well, if you can, is something that sells.

Anyway, everybody sorry for the thread jack. An early 2000s Wakesetter VLX, Xstar/205V/X-2 (before the pickle fork), Centurion Avalanche are all great wakes. I am a big fan of the original V-drive Xstar. That wake with 2000lbs in it, for an intermediate guy like me, is totally MONEY.
