for me, it's the shane 140, but there's not one "hot" board to fit everyone's style. it's going to be different for everyone since one's riding style is different from the next.

OBRIEN DECADE  DW's new pro model, i think i'm the second guy to ride it besides him LOL, this board was soo smoooth, i felt sooo comfortable on this board, and first thing i did was take a big nose grab one8 into the flats to test the landings and still pretty soft for coming down that hard. really nice rolled edges so if you come outta spins a bit sloppy (that's me) it's way forgiving. . . sorry. u guys wont even see this thing till next february (i know, i'm an jerk) but the first 4 prototypes (with graphics) came in friday before memorial day weekend so i had to take 1 out. SOOOO much fun taking that deck out!!!

I rode every Liquid Force pro model from last year. Liked the Shane and Watson the best. Bought the Watson. Nice pop, great edges (sharp at tip and tail, rounded in center) and three great spines down the center of the board to break flats landings. WOW does that work great!
Actually though I was most impressed by the LF Melissa Marquette that my girlie bought. What a board. Puts other womens boards to SHAME! On a related note if manufactures don't stop making womens products so pink and girly and stupid I will puke! Wake girls are hardcore, you dummies.

It's that damn Hansel, he's so hot right now.
I'd say if there was a board that is going to absolutely take off, it would be the Marek. There were a ton of 3DS riders and Rusty is everywhere at the moment. Who's to say its the "best", but if hype, rider killing it and design says anything, the Marek should be the hot ticket this summer.

from what i read here on ww the lyman and transend seem to be the "hottest".
but when i leave my SST on the dock in the sun. when i come back and pick it up some times that grip is HOT! haha

i 2nd mitch. The lyman and transcend seem to be the most sought after boards this year.
A lot of talk about the marek and monarch but because theyre soo expensive most ppl just want to look then shy away from them.

joe, i dont think cwb sells more then lf and hype up here. ww might make you think that. a lot of shops ive seen here still have a lot 06 and 07 cwb promodels. it seems that the people that ride cwb pro models either get them for free or get a deal on them.
