Despite the holiday weekend, we still pulled out some good riding.

Here's a better quality version:

Oh yeah - that's my 1985 ski nautique 2001 throwin' that wake.

We had around 2k in weight in it. Shot the footage with my new High Def camera.

Grapevine lake. We usually hit it around 6am, which salvaged the weekend/memorial day pulls.

The camera is a Canon Vixia HV30, MiniDV High Def model. Great camera - I chose it over the Hard Drive models for a purpose - better fast motion capture. The hard drive cameras have a harder time capturing motion with less blur.

The editing software is Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.

A place to sit!! Just kidding. I've got the HV20 so it looks like I'm old school now!

haha! hey - i can balance on the gunnels, sit on the engine cover, or straddle the closed bow, THANK YOU.

The HV20 has the same capture chips, they just upgraded the housing and software. MiniDV is still the way to go and still much more compatible with editing.

You likin' the picture quality???

For sure, and especially on our new Sony HD LCD! Hooking up the HV20 via HDMI to our TV looks incredible. I bought Vegas Platinum and I'm still trying to climb up the steep learning curve of video editing. I'm catching on but it will take some time!
