I never believed any of this "we need a recount" effort for the election, but now that the Trump lawyers are trying to block it...

Why would he try to block a recount? It doesn't cost the taxpayers anything since Jill Stein's donations are paying for it.

So why does Trump want to stop the recount?

It was very close in those states, why leave anything to chance? There are all kinds of crazy things that can happen, like when Al Franken first ran for senate in MN and they had the recount, then all of the sudden a poll worked shows up with a box of full of ballots, surprisingly all for Franken, that they claim was accidentally left in the trunk of the poll workers car and were not counted.

If there was no fraud in the actual election you can damn well bet there would be in the recount.
