That exact thing happened to my wife's long time girlfriend just last year at Winco. She ended up making a scene about it and someone had actually caught it on their cell phone. They caught the lady. Some kind of deal as the video.

Yeah it happened to my wife 2 years ago in Costco. Man and woman team. The woman distracted her by asking her a bunch of recipe questions in the meat section while the man stole her wallet out of her purse. Within 15 minutes, they charged up over $5K on the credit cards. She got to watch it all unfold on the security video afterwards.

No we don't, strangely our system is set up a bit differently and while not perfect it does a better job of curbing wealth inequality with a more progressive tax system and has socially provided health and education services which helps reduce hopelessness and crime. But that's kinda my point.
