I'm going to install my 7610 this weekend and want to use it with the existing perko. I've looked alot of wiring diagrams including the one included with the 7610, but havent seen one that uses a 1/2/both switch. I've got a pretty good idea on how to hook it up, but if anyone has a simple diagram I'd like to look it over to make sure I'm doing this right.

Yep! Not the most ideal switch. I would suggest getting the proper dual circuit plus switch, but it can be done with a traditional 1/2/both/off switch. I would consult your 7610 retailer for a custom diagram for your application.

I found one Exile drew up for wiring a system when I did mine. But I can't find the exact one. Will this help?

Went ahead and purchased the 5511e switch. Should I be able to convert this over with the hardware I currently have (with the addition of another ground wire) ?

To add a bi-directional ACR to a conventional dual battery switch you first make sure the switch is wired correctly. All helm buss, audio and starter wired to the 'C' output post of the Perko with nothing battery-direct. Switch post #1 to battery #1. Switch post #2 to battery #2. Then just add the ACR across the two batteries positive terminals and ground the ACR. Now the switch allows you to prioritize the battery in use, set charging direction and isolation, emergency combine, and disconnect.
There are other abstract ways to do this in order to get a more specific use & result, however, the switch nomenclature would no longer match the application, and unless you re-label the switch you are inviting confusion.
So there is nothing wrong in using a conventional dual battery switch in combination with an ACR. Having said that, the dual circuit switch (5511e) is ideal for use with an ACR/VSR.
