So has anybody messed around with timer relays here? I am trying to wire a simple relay that will activate after having power for 5 mins or so and sound an alarm. Don't want to accidentally leave my ballast pumps on and kill the battery!

If you know anything about them, where can I get one?

just need a tdode relay (time delay on de energization). Standard electrical relay, might be a little tough to find one in 12V but it should not be that hard. There is also the good old twist timer if you want to okie rig it. I had one hidden in a box under the seat cushion of my old boat, worked great. A switch for forward/reverse and the twist timer to run the pumps.

PAC-audio the makes the TR7 has a user selectable time up to just over 4 minutes. Also depending on how good your skills with electronics are you can make a timer using a 555 timer some resistors and capacitors. Schematics and equations for what resistors and capacitors to use based on time delay desired.
