Can someone explain the difference? Are they the same company or no? I'm new to wakeboarding....

It's run as a separate brand, but it is part of Hyperlite wakeboards.

Most board companies/brands are owned by Kent Watersports:
Hyperlite, Byerly, Liquid Force, Obrien, Jobe, CWB (Boards)
Obscura, Catalyst (Skates)
HO, Connelly, Obrien (skis)
Accurate Lines, Straightline, (ropes/handles/ballast, misc).

These are the independent brands, and I'm sure I'm missing some:
Slingshot, Humanoid, Ronix, CTRL (Boards)
Remote, WaterMonsters, and really any other than LF/Hype (Skates)
Radar (skis)
Follow (Ropes / Handles)
