I bought the malinoski board and bindings new this year and having some issues. I have only use my board maybe eight times this summer and it already has cracked in half and the bindings on one side have broken from the bottom. I haven't gone on any rails or crashed hard to make both components break like that. Only normal wake to wake jumps and tricks. I have also had an issue with the bindings sliding in the slots. I have the screws fairly tight but I'm not sure how much more I want to tighten them since there isn't a whole lot of board securing the screws. The dealer has honored the warranty so I'm safe there but I'm not sure how much longer the new ones going to last either. Is anyone else out there having these issues?
I've been on the Marek now for 3 years, all has been good. HL is really good about supporting their dealers and in turn customers. As long as you have a good relationship with your dealer then you should be all set with any potential issues.
