Hopefully it will be here in time for the MN Spring Ride. They'll be towing one up here from Atlanta for the event, but I'd love to have my own rig on site.

Went with the 450hp engine. Supposedly, that's the engine they are giving all of the athletes, so I'm expecting it will be enough. The 550 Super Charged one would have been fun, but it's quite-a-bit more for that upgrade.

houstonshark - I'm hoping I can get someone to take a few pics of the build for me. I believe production starts on May 1, so I'm thinking mine will be one of the first to hit the line...my expected completion date is May 31.

jcfox00 - Come on up! It's confirmed that Danny Harf will be attending, and we'll for sure have 1 G23. Fingers crossed that we'll have 2.

I heard the line is running already, they sold more then expected at the launch. Dallas may see 2 mid May.

It will be on a Boatmate trailer. Looking at doing a black/green/white trailer with black 18s on it.

I'd talk to Boatmate about a possilbe ladder at the bow like you see on pontoon trailers.

Gonna tow it with my Silverado Crew Cab with the 6.2L. Max tow rating is about 10,800 pounds so it should do a decent job.

I was, but it was going to be September before I could get one with them. I went with Race City Marine. They are a lot closer to me anyway. Hopefully, it's a good dealership. My last two boats have been from White Lake, so it was hard not buying from them.
Old     (aarond0083)      Join Date: Apr 2007       04-27-2012, 7:32 AM Reply
Makes sense. I don't know much about Race City but I'm sure they are great. I was just curious because White Lake is my dealer as well. Was hoping to hear they had sold a G23. I'm headed down there next week to pick up our 210.

Congrats on the G23. I'm looking forward to seeing one in person.

I think I will be putting these rims on the trailer. Trailer color is probably going to be Black/Green/White.

I created an all white and all black on on their site, but decided I liked a little more color. If you could do all black with some ghost graphics like Jeff said, that would sick!

I'm a couple of hours north of Norman, so I don't usually ride that lake.

Heres the new "tug boat" lol G23 sitting in ur green/black behind my ride. The G23 towers over it (and my suv in this pic is in the extended suspension mode). It makes the 200 look like a canoe and the 230 like a john boat lol

That thing looks like a monster. it makes the trailer and wheels look like a pontoon on its trailer haha. Friggin sick though

my trailer came in last week. thing is a beast! about 27' feet long...23.5' at the tounge break. the color will take some getting used to, and will probably look better once the boat is on it. the cutout Nautique has lights behind it, so it'll glow nicely.

The spare tire is on a spinning hub. There are led's that run the length of the frame rail, which will shine up from underneath the sides of the boat for some cool lighting.

Not sure I'll need to use the ladder, but Casey is about 6 ft tall, so you can imagine just how high the bow will be.

Please tell me where I can buy a ladder attachment like that. I have been thinking about having one made - that one looks far superior to any that I have seen in person. I thought I was going to have to have one welded on - that one just bolts on - great design.
Old     (ironj32)      Join Date: Jan 2007       05-26-2012, 9:53 AM Reply
I'm not sure if Boatmate makes it or what, but that is who I would call. I didn't even order it. My dealer may have asked to get it put on, or it may be that all G23 trailers from Boatmate will have them.

I bet. Its going to be worth it. If it makes you feel better, just imagine what people who had deposit on the Xstar are thinking right now. (The extended delays, tweaking of the design, etc)

I don't see how you'd get in that thing without a ladder! looks sweet though, congrats. and yes. i'm jealous

well, i'd rather climb up in my 130k boat off of something that was welded to my trailer than the platform ladder. but that's just me

Jay- Does the runway lighting on the trailer only light up when it's in the water, or is it always on??

Also- I've seen a white 230 out on Lake Pulaski a bunch lately. Any idea who that is??

I'm not sure about the lights Charlie. I've been curious about that too. I was in a rush when I was there, so didn't hook the truck up to the trailer to check it out. I'll probably be up at MarineMax at some point over the next week, and will give it a try.

As far as the white 230 goes...I'm not sure about that, but I'm guessing it's the 2011 that we had for the fall last year. I saw someone towing it back to MarineMax the same day I took pics of the trailer.

runway lights are on when out of water but dim. there is a float switch on passenger side (under rear corner) that reacts to water and turns them bright when you hit the water....
