i just looked at their site. any idea what this means:

'Interchangeable Wake-Specific Hull Designs,'? I know that there are 2 hull designs for each model (Wake/Diamond), but I am not aware of anything that is 'interchangeable' unless they are referring to the Wedge...

This just shows you they don't know jack about the product they just took on. They have an uphill battle ahead of them.

From talking with a few people Bakes is going to be just a parts and service center. They are still a certified Malibu and/or Indmar service center.

I agree with NuBu. Seattle Boat has never sold anything but runabouts and Sunseeker's(I can't imagine they sold that many of these). They really need to hire a service person and a salesmen that know wakeboats or they are in for a hurting. The other problem I see is that Malibu doesn't really make a good rough water, deep freeboard boat that will sell that great on Lake Washington. I have a feeling that Malibu just ended their run of dominating Lake Sammamish in tournament boat's.

What is good for Seattle boat is they have their main shop/showroom on Lake Union but also have a service center in Bellevue at Newport Shores.

Bakes had been for sale for the past 9 months or so. Should I read into this that they couldn't find a buyer so Malibu moved the franchise to another dealership?
