59K for a brand new 23 footer??? Seems way cheap, I knew Epics were a decent value but that seems like a steal for a boat that large. Plus its a 2014, not like its a hold over or used. I'm not in the market, but came across this on Craigs. There isn't a dealer I know of in that area so I wondered

I think thats about spot on for a demo boat. You can get a new one for around 65-75. I bought a used (6hrs) 21V at the end of last summer for 46K out the door. IMO with my boat I really like the build quality that it has. It does have minor fit & finish issues as far as the sea deck but over all its a solid boat with a great look. Especially for the price. We didnt get it completly dialed in on the wake or surf wave last summer but the two times we took it out the wakes seemed to be very nice!

At the DFW boat show earlier this year, I think that is a little more than they were offering a new one for, but definitely in the ballpark. Keep negotiating.

Like I said I have NO interest in this boat. Just saw the add on Craigslist and thought it was to low to be true. Most companies 20 footers are more than that.

Sanger has the 237 special listed on their website for $64k new with trailer so that's pretty comparable. The price isn't a scam.

They had 2 2013 23V's at the DFW boat show for $53k so seems about right, %10 off for the year older boat would have put it at $59k new last year.

This is why I don't understand how more people don't own these boats. Reasonable prices and just an awesome wake, I haven't ridden the G23 wake yet, but hard to believe it's double the price better...

It only took my first wake jump on my first set on an EPIC to find out that name is no joke.

It's a slightly ugly boat with a small dealer network. No surprise that they don't have more market share.

I crawled around a lot in one of the 23V's at the boat show and was impressed at the amount of storage and stock ballast it had. It had real nice options but my biggest concern was the Mercruiser power plant. Had no history or knowledge of it and that scared me. Along with dealer support, or lack there of, around here.

Mercs are proven motors. They're used all over the boating industry. They don't have much notariety in the towing industry, but I never had an issue with the Merc in my Centurion.

I think they will start selling better later this year once the updated interior with touch screen comes out. They haven't done much for updates in the 7 years it has been out.

I saw a guys last year bought as 2012 hold over, checked it out a bit, he drove 12 hours to get it because of the value. IMO it was pretty good, not super awesome, but pretty good. He didn't say exactly what he paid, but it wasn't hard to calculate based on the rest of the conversation and how happy he was about the price.

... Hmm boat is more likely a 2013 - not 100% sure but ...
Engine is fine - might be a little slow to get out if the hole but I haven't seen anybody who wanted everything full ... Just too much wake and you need to be at 23+

So price wise ... Ok but you could probably get it for less. Paid less for mine (23 hrs on it) and got the 8.1l engine which is an 8k upgrade ... But my fuel bill is a lot higher :-(

We have a new dealer here in the twin cities ... He was selling his inventory off - at least it's no longer listed ...

And the boat is solid ... Please do t start the

Sorry
Start the war not in the mood ... Not a G or M or the other M but you'll get a lot and pay a lot less ... And it floats/pulls and the speakers are awesome ... My neighbors prolly hate me
