Did you use the 06? It's the same thing.

'06 was white and black, right? New one is green and blue with more of a diamond/square grip and no finger grooves. I have one (replacement for a warrantied '06). I like the grip a lot better than the '06, but haven't used it in water. I don't know if I will b/c when I was waiting for the replacement I ended the season with an older Accurate Murray?...square knobby grip.
I'll try it at some point.

Here's the '07, but I think the picture is misleading. The one I have has no finger grooves and the grip is more square. That picture looks more rounded with the finger grooves.

Well, I'll just let the pictures do the talking. Here's the one I have followed by the clearanced Accurate I got while finishing out the season. Love the knobbies on the Accurate (No rings allowed! ).

I've used this handle and it is awesome! Fits real well in the grooves of your hand. Check out murray's podcast on the HL site....he mainly talks about his board but briefly talks about his handle as well....there's a classic murray comedian moment at the end of his podcast talking about his 2012 pro model board. funny stuff!

The new Murray looks a lot like the '06 Premeire, is it?

I like that handle to the point I want to buy it just putting it off. I have a small grip and it worked nice for me.

Allie,
The grip is bigger than what I remember of the '06 Murray. I like it better b/c of that. It's also bigger than the Accurate I have pictured. Due to grip size, I'll try it this year and determine which will be my spare.

I like the 06 grip. I think the finger grooves are great. What problem did yours have Paul? The older Murray handle with the knobbies really tore up my hand. I used both at the boarding school in 05, and was always more comfortable with the 06. Plus, white goes with everything!

The other day I compared the 2007 HL Murray and the 2007 Accurate Premier. As far as I can tell they are the same exact handle, just in different colors.

I have that old tan and brown Murray handle that Paul posted. It is a little hard on my hands... the newer ones look much more comfortable.

The 07 Premier and 07 Murray are not the same. They are similar, though. The Murray is a squared off design. The Premier is more of a triangle....the top of the handle is still rounded off like a traditional handle.

Eric,
My grip was splitting at the seams out towards the end. And no...rings aren't allowed when riding. You're right tho, white does go with everything.

I always felt like I was re-gripping on the '06. Perhaps it was b/c of my lackluster forearm strength...

Again, I do like the '07 grip better, but it hasn't been put to real use yet.

Maybe I like the old knobby handle b/c it locks into my grip a little better. Heck...I'll run calluses.

I used this handle down at the boarding school in feb... I have to say... the shape is really nice and the hands as you fingers tend to "lock" around the square shape...

Just some feedback from using it for a week straight.
