This feels like a silly question, but Centurion seems to harp on this, and I'm curious, aren't all hull designs meant to create symmetrical wakes? I'm not sure I get what they are trying to point out to differentiate themselves? Are there wake boats that are intentionally asymetrical wakeboard wakes?

Usually hulls are symmetrical. That’s not always going to make a symmetrical wake. Weight is usually not distributed evenly, especially with passengers on board. And the prop rotation is going to favor one side over the other. Issues with symmetry are more pronounced with deeper V hulls... like a Centurion. I don’t know why they make that claim but I suspect it may have something to do with their hulls’ natural propensity to be more prone to issues with symmetry.

If you have cats, just adjust the cats and it will be, we board behind my fs44, but we have multiple wake boat in the hood, and usually ride my neighbors BU MXZ. The biggest prob we have found, (i am sure others say) the wider deeper boats need more speed. We run 23.5 ish. We could argue prop rotation but I think CATS is amazing, as you dont have to move people around to clean up both sides.
