So we were out all weekend boarding snd stuff. Decied to wakesurf in the chop so I fill up my tanks as ussual 1000 lbs on the left side 500 in the front and 5 people in the boat. I tell the driver to go around 12.5 as ussual...as we are going the wave just got real nice and I could stay in the pocket effortlessly and could actually surf up and down the wave without losing it. I surfed for about 5-6 minutes without the rope and got in the boat and said..wow I wonder what the difference was? The driver said instead of going 12.5 dropped it down to 10.5 and the wave ogt a foot higher. I had been going ot fast the whole time.

Dano,

Let's see some pics of that new boat, and the wake. Just make sure you are not in them!

dano,

if the water is less than perfect...try running perfect pass in rpm mode.. you will get a little bit extra pull from the wake and it will help clean it up a smige..

daniel,

doing good !! how about you ? when are you going out to san v ? we'll be out there with chip from stripes on saturday (set up for goofy)..

rpm mode is when the pp is set up to run at a fixed rpm (ie 2900 rpm @ 10 - 10.3 mph).. so instead of the pp paddle gauging the speed (it is all over the place in less than ideal water) the boat speed runs consistent because of the rpm..

sounds miniscule but the rider gets a little bit more pull from the wake.. i would suspect it is from the consistent prop speed..
