Thanks guys.
Jeff - the paints are acrylic waterbased paints from Michaels. I've been in there so much lately they probably think I'm doing scrapbooking or something...
not sure about ASP. what is that?
Steps were:
1. seal the board with DAP fast n final
2. paint the hot pink and lighter pink
3. glass the board and hotcoat
4. sand hotcoat (as smooth as possible for more artwork)
5. paint the flower (i cut some triangular shapes from butcher paper to use as the template.
6. paint the black pinlines
7. retouch any minor pinline mistakes
8. gloss the board
9. scrape off gloss coat as it began to fisheye over the flower
(major bummer)
10. re-sand entire bottom
11. re gloss
12. go to bed
in the end - came out really nice but A LOT of work doing artwork. i can't stop though b/c i really like how the boards look... and more importantly so does the wife.
