I recommend use dry lemon acid (easy to buy in bakeries section) on wet sponge as remover any water spots and rinse by clean water after and windshield looks new. Very easy. Rain-X for prevent yes, will be fine.

50/50 of water and white vinegar. works like a charm on everything: seats, hull, tower, dash, windshield, trailer, rims...the whole works.

+1 on the vinegar. Also rain x here and there helps prevent. Random, but have you been out on Belton lately? Thinking about camping out there the next week or two and wondering the water temp, etc

Rain X for sure.....I DON'T recommend Vinegar and water. Everyone says it, but if you have any metal on your boat that can get hit with the spray it can cause damage to it. I starting to notice it on my trailer from the over spray. I stopped using that a couple years ago. If I get water spots, I use a very fine rubbing compound and rub lightly on the window. It works perfect every time and my windows look better then ever. Then I put a coat of Rain X on or if you don't have Rain X a light spray of detail wax spray and wipe off works in a pinch.

BABES FOR THE WIN!

I will say that depending on the composition of the water at the lake you frequent, results will vary.

Saguaro lake in AZ, Babes is awesome.
Bartlett lake in AZ, Ducky is awesome.

Give em all a try, I think babes smells the best though
