Ive been wondering does having a drifted (NSS, SURFGATE, ETC...) boat react to shallower depth like a listed boat? I have a 10 tige Z1 and once I get to 10ft the wake is gone, between 10-14 its dimminshed then above 14' Im all good. The river I ride has some depth issues so weve got short winding runs.

so is drifted better, worse or the same when it comes to shallower water vs a listed boat?

Slowing down is what helps me in shallow water. Yesterday at 10-15' where we were playing I was at 9.8mph & 10mph when we were at 15-20'.

Its the same... when I get in the 10 minus area we lose height and lip... It's bottom push that your experiencing.. All the weight of the hull is compressing the water below it and pushing off the bottom of the lake.. good luck!
