Anyone know? Maybe Mr. Moye can chime in.

24-26 mph probably encompasses 75% of pros.

I agree with Jeff. Nobody really rides above 26.5mph.

I've been riding at 22-23 at 70 ft. I am going to try 24-25 and add 5 foot to the and see what it does for my pop.

I just can't imagine 100 feet of line. I have never a wake that looks decent beyond 85-90 feet. I like the shape ay 80 feet, but let's face it, the wake starts to get smaller beyond 80-85.

I ride 75ft at 25 mph....80-85ft I have issues with my cut (feel too much "pull" from the boat for some reason.

I suppose I could get used to it if I tried harder but I would probably need to ride 26 + to go that far back myself.

I guess working on my technique would be an option, but isn't that what everyone does every time they take a set?

I've got pretty good height now. I just want more.

Whats the purpose of going so fast? I ride at 21-22 it seems great. 25-27 seems to fast and more dangerous, plus for me the faster I go the less control I have. I'm still new so I was just curious.

What is your rope length at 21-22 mph? It all depends on where the rider wants the rope and the boat. If someone is trying to ride at 85 feet they can't go 21-22 mph because the wake will crumble, so they have to go faster in order to keep it clean. Also certain boats you have to go faster with to get a clean wake.

Going faster allows you to create more line tension with your cut towards the wake, which gives you more pop.
