So I was just watching the animated Disney movie A Bug's Life with my 2 year old daughter...and there was a scene where one of the bugs was wakeboarding. He was getting a pull across a puddle from a dragonfly. Cool once again to see wakeboarding in the main stream especially since this movie was made in '97.

Couldn't tell what type of board he was riding.....

After reviewing the board guide for 97 I've come to the conclusion that it would have to be one of the following

Jobe
Fly Light

Liquid Force
Fly or
Nymph

O'brien
Buzz

Wake Tech
Flight

For the record there were a company or two with boards called "Fish" I was pretty sure it wasn't one of those!

It was fun to take a trip down board history, sad to see some names that lasted for a good while go, and interesting to see some companies that just couldn't make a go of it.
