I'm really not starting a riot here. I am just trying to get some info or maybe a link to a prior thread where this was discussed.

I am looking at upgrading my MXZ soon and MC is one brand I am looking at.

I wanted some info on the best boat to demo. I have heard the X30 is the best surf boat in the lineup.

I also wanted to know the best surf setup to take with me to demo it. Thanks.

Again, if this has already been discussed a simple link to the prior thread works

Please no MC riots. Thanks.

The X25 is an awesome surf boat as is the X30. You can't go wrong with either one. The X30 handles a bit better and it also depends if you like the V nose or pickly fork

We made the switch from a Supreme V226 to a 2013 MC X30 at the end of July and love the surf wave on the X30. We run all the stock ballast full (port, starboard, and front), an 1100lb sac in the corner, 1100lb under the coffin seat and a 400lb sac in the front.

SteveO what about tabs and attitude adjustment plate?

We haven't messed with the tabs or the attitude adjustment plate much. I think with the added weight in the front, we don't need the adjustment plate. We got the boat late in the season so we haven't had a whole lot of time to play around with a bunch of different setups. The setup we are using now produces a wave with a ton of push and I think it is comparable to the V226 wave as far as push and length, just a bit shorter in height.

The way MC is marketing, it sound like they feel that the new X-46 is their flagship surf boat

I would be glad to share the media of our X30. You can find it all on our FB page.

I would suggest you take as much weight to the demo as the dealer will allow. Port side---all stock tanks full, add as much as you can get in the locker, and as much as you can get under the bench seat. Starboard side--stock starboard and center full, and add as much as you can get in the locker. This will give you an idea of how good the surf wake is, then you can play with the tabs when you own a brand new 2014.

Ok so to clarify...

all stock tanks full

Slam both back lockers

Plus as much weight as you can get under the port bench seat?
