Riders all seem to be complaining about the conditions (without really bitchin if you know what I mean) Words like,tricky,interesting,unbelievable........etc. Gotta be kinda tricky if they cannot even anchor the obstacles. Not so much for the Pro Men but turns it into a bit of a lottery for almost all the other divisions.I remember going to a tour stop in Minneapolis in 2008 and it was great. Why didn't they have it there again??

I don't know all the details but I don't think ballast is allowed on that lake anymore.

In the years prior Pro Tour stops we always at Island Lake or Keller lake in MN, both are shallow, with Island Lake being a bit deeper. The lake assosication banned ballast systmes on the lake about a year ago. I do like the view as a spectator on the river much beter. But the conditions are interesting. I was out all day, Colin Ryan said that the current was a bit of a challenge but over all it was managable. Typically the current on the river is not such an issue, the water level is crazy right now so the current is super strong.

I really wish all the MN riders and spectators would stop complaining about the currnet, AT LEAST THE NATIONALS ARE IN MN! THAT IS HUGE!
