I have 2 DVC 4 ohm 12" Fosgate HE2's that I am going to put in the boat. They are 500 watt rms max. Would it be best to get a 2 channel amp or a mono amp? what ohm load would i need to run to these subs? Thanks for the help!!

you'll need to know what their RMS is at each load. that's how you'd decide how to wire them.

Wrong posting area, should be in boats, accessories etc.

Get a class D monoblock.

I cannot tell from your post if you have two 2 x 4 ohm VC subs or two ? ohm DVC subs.

Go to the correct posting area and post the impedence of each voice coil and I will tell you how to wire them. (or just PM me)
